Activation of Open item management and line item display for postings happened GL account in ECC 6 & EHP 3

Dear Forum,

Please find the below process to activate the GL line item display and open item management for a GL account.

GL display: FS00

GL line item display: (FBL3N)

Due to absence of line item display indicator in the GL master when user try to display the GL account in FBL3N system won’t allow displaying any open items.

Now to activate the line item display indicators in the GL master initially block it for postings and execute the program RFSEPA01 in SE38.

Execution of RFSEPA01 program to display the posted line items:

Give the GL account and company code

After execution the GL line item display in FAGLL03 and FBL3N will show like below:

Now execute the transaction code FAGL_ACTIVATE_OP to activate the open item management, give the GL account and company code and switch on date.

After execution in the GL master the open item management will active automatically:

In the GL line item display the open items will show like below:

After the T code execution the open item management will active and open items will appear in the GL line item display.
